Melton Truck Lines, Inc. Wins Quest for Quality Award for Fifth Consecutive Year

TULSA, Okla – October 6, 2009 -  Melton Truck Lines, a premier air-ride flatbed carrier based in Tulsa, OK, was recently awarded Logistics Management magazine’s Quest for Quality Award for the fifth consecutive year.  The award is presented to companies in the logistics and transportation industry based on their outstanding customer service and operational performance.

For more than a quarter century the Quest for Quality Award has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. The 2009 Quest for Quality Award winners were selected from the results of nearly 6,500 survey responses submitted by qualified buyers of transportation and logistics services.  The survey participants ranked the performance, value, information technology, customer service, equipment and operations of hundreds of transportation companies.  Each transportation provider was required to receive a certain number of votes to qualify for the award.

Melton accepted the award September 23 in Chicago at the Quest for Quality Awards dinner.
