Melton Truck Lines, Inc. Names Driver and Employee of the Year

TULSA, Okla – August 10, 2010 - Melton Truck Lines, a premier air-ride flatbed carrier based in Tulsa, OK, recently named its Driver and Employee of the Year at the annual company dinner and celebration which was held this year at the Oklahoma Aquarium.  The annual awards are presented to a driver and office employee who demonstrate leadership, excellence and dependability. 

            The annual Driver of the Year award was presented to Albert Adams from Catoosa, OK.  Albert has been with Melton 13 years.  He has over one million miles with Melton and is a member of the President’s Club. 

            “It’s an honor to work for such a great company, and an even bigger honor to win Driver of the Year,” Albert said.  “I’d like to thank everyone who voted for me and a special thank you to Bob for making Melton such a wonderful company to work for.  I’d also like to thank my wife, Camille, for standing by me and encouraging me to set goals for myself.”

            The annual Employee of the year award was presented to Jennifer Moore from Broken Arrow, OK.  Jennifer has been with Melton for 9 years and has held several positions over her tenure.  Currently she is the Senior Marketing Associate.  Jennifer is a team player and always willing to help out when needed. 

            “It’s an honor to be recognized as Melton Truck Lines’ Employee Of The Year,” Jennifer said.  “I am fortunate to work with people who give their best effort and are supportive of one another.  Thanks to all of the Melton management who help keep our business running smoothly.”
