Northern Ohio Peterbilt seeks to acquire Columbus-based AMG Peterbilt - November 19, 2019

Broadview Heights, Ohio Ohio Machinery Co., dba Northern Ohio Peterbilt, has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with AMG Peterbilt Group, LLC which will allow them to expand their sales and service footprint into central Ohio. The agreement, which has a target close date of November 30, 2019, includes the purchase of the operating assets of AMG from their Columbus, Marietta and Zanesville locations as well as their pre-delivery inspection (PDI) center in Denton, Texas.
As the two parties work towards the close of this transaction, Ohio Machinery Co. has also entered into an interim management agreement with AMG, effective October 28, 2019, which allows for continuous, uninterrupted truck sales, service work and parts sales support for area customers.
The goal is to ensure the Peterbilt customer base that there will be no gaps in service or parts availability. Said Ken Taylor, Owner and President of Ohio Machinery Co., We intend to build upon the success weve seen with our own operations to provide the premium experience they have come to expect from the Peterbilt, Northern Ohio Peterbilt, and Ohio Machinery Co. names.
