Broadview Heights, Ohio – Ohio
Machinery Co., dba Northern Ohio Peterbilt, has entered into an Asset
Purchase Agreement with AMG Peterbilt Group, LLC which will allow them
to expand their sales and service footprint into central Ohio. The
agreement, which has a target close date of November 30, 2019, includes
the purchase of the operating assets of AMG from their Columbus,
Marietta and Zanesville locations as well as their pre-delivery
inspection (PDI) center in Denton, Texas.
As the two parties work towards the close of this transaction, Ohio
Machinery Co. has also entered into an interim management agreement
with AMG, effective October 28, 2019, which allows for continuous,
uninterrupted truck sales, service work and parts sales support for
area customers.
The goal is to ensure the Peterbilt customer base that there will be no
gaps in service or parts availability. Said Ken Taylor, Owner and
President of Ohio Machinery Co., “We intend to build upon the success
we’ve seen with our own operations to provide the premium experience
they have come to expect from the Peterbilt, Northern Ohio Peterbilt,
and Ohio Machinery Co. names.”
