Country Music Star Kellie Pickler
Headlining Mid-America Trucking Show Concert Louisville, KY

This year, the 2018 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) will once again feature a free concert for all attendees on Friday, March 23rd, sponsored by ExxonMobil and the Mobil Delvac™ team.

Country music artist and former “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler will headline the free 2018 Mid-America Trucking Show concert at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on Friday, March 23.

Truckers Against Trafficking Launches ATA-Supported Campaign
Man to Man Campaign Targets Reducing Demand for Human Trafficking

American Trucking Associations joined Truckers Against Trafficking for the launch of the Man to Man Campaign, an effort to eliminate the demand for human trafficking throughout the transportation industry by inviting men to speak out about the inhuman practices of sex traffickers to individuals who demand their services.

“Our industry’s voice is powerful. From truck drivers to dock workers to dispatchers throughout the supply chain, if we can continue talking to one another about the atrocity that is human trafficking, we can make substantial progress toward our goal of eliminating it,” said ATA COO Elisabeth Barna at a press conference on Capitol Hill.

WIT Announces February 2018
Member of the Month
Sandy Goche

Women In Trucking Association (WIT) has announced Sandy Goche, as its February Member of the Month. Sandy is an expedite owner-operator and team driver of a Freightliner 2016 Cascadia along with her partner, Stephen Halsted.

Sandy grew up on a farm that raised cattle, pigs and chickens as livestock with corn, soybeans, and oats as the crops. She got her first taste of trucking riding in the bunk of cabovers as they took her father’s cattle to market.
