TCA’s Professional Drivers of the Year Program Open for Nominations

Professional truck drivers are essential to the supply chain and delivering America’s goods safely and on time.  The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) wants to celebrate and recognize those drivers that are best in class with TCA’s Professional Drivers of the Year program.

TCA is looking for those exceptional drivers who have made a significant impact over the past year on the industry, their driver colleagues, their community, and the company that employs them.  TCA Professional Drivers of the Year nominees should also have superior safety records, be strong role models and have inspiring stories that have made a difference in their lives and the truckload industry.

Women In Trucking Association
Names Shelley Simpson
2023 Influential Woman in Trucking

The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) presented Shelley Simpson, President, J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. with its 2023 Influential Woman in Trucking award. The award is sponsored by Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), the leading manufacturer of Class 6-8 commercial vehicles in North America, and recognizes the achievements of female role models and trailblazers in the trucking industry.

The winner was announced during the WIT Accelerate! Conference & Expo in Dallas. The announcement followed the panel discussion Unstoppable Women in Trucking You Must Know About, facilitated by Tracy Mack-Askew, Chief Engineer of Chassis, Propulsion, and Vocational Engineering, DTNA.
