marija81 0
I just read information that the median expected salary for a typical US truck driver- heavy is &38.000. Is this true information? (I’m not in this profession, so I don’t know how much money truck drivers earn).
Lance Sandell 0
If I am not wrong, the avg salary depends upon the place. Avg salary for a truck driver in NYwill be far more than a that of a truck driver from say Nebraska?! Just an example..
Windstarlines 1
It's hard to give a number on the "avarage" salary, there's too many factors involved: location(not only the state, but also the company you work for), experience, trips you will be doing, the # of days you will be on the road and maybe few more factors that I'm missing. Leadfoot McGee 1
Yeah, what Lance said is true. It depends on what state you live in. Right now, Alaskan truck drivers have the highest annual median salary at $53,440. Check out this website. Click on a state on the and at the top of each page, it tells you how many truck drivers are employed in that state and what the average yearly salary is. It also gives you a bunch of truck driving school statistics for each state. Hope that helps.
