Recently, he celebrated his 14thanniversary with National Carriers. Pete drives a company truck for NCI andserves as a trainer in the company’s driver training program. The announcementcame at the conclusion of the annual NCI Driver of the Year banquet. Among hismany gifts he was awarded a check for $5,000.

Presidentof National Carriers, Jim Franck said, “Carlnaci just takes care of businesssafely and honestly every day. And has for the last 14 plus years. He carries a positive can-do attitude with him wherever he goes. Could notthink of a better choice to be the “Elite” of the EliteFleet. Congratulations Carlnaci!”

Director ofSafety and Compliance, Jill Maschmeier stated, “What a wonderful “lead byexample” guy. He is one of our top drivers, also is one of our top trainers.Who better to be our driver trainer than someone that can walk the walk andtalk the talk. Carlnaci is a kind, gentle, soul who has the patience of Job.His quite, calm, personality is just what someone new to the industry and toour company needs. He is the kind of guy that stays off the radar and justworks. Kind of an out of site out of mind driver.  We just know every day heis taking care of business. I am so proud to have him part of our familyhere at NCI.”

Maschmeierand Franck are not the only fans. Loren Bridge, Vice President of Sales andOperations shared, “Carlnaci is a great example of a successful over the roadtruck driver. He plans his work so he can be efficient with his hours ofservice and maximize the number of miles he can run.  He is one of our topdriver trainers and if the drivers he trains become half the trucker Carlnaciis, they will be very successful.”

Pete said the positive feelings are mutual.
