Average diesel prices down 8.4 cents; oil at six-year low

Recommended Posts

Ah, yes. Thanks to the current shale oil boom in America, the price per barrel of crude oil continues to sink like the Exxon Valdez. The Saudis refuse to cut production to inflate the price because, at this point, they are just trying to hold on to the market share they have. Once the Keystone pipeline is finally set in place and Congress rolls back the crude oil export ban (IF they roll back the crude oil export ban), the Saudis and OPEC in general will really be screaming for mercy. The U.S. is on track to become the world's leading oil producer by the end of this year and I say "Amen!". For far too long, we have been at the mercy of OPEC and, more specifically, Saudi Aramco, and now, the tables have turned and the Middle East can get a taste of their own medicine! Do I sound just a little bit jaded? LOL.
