Type of work

Atlantis's core business since 1974 is specializing in the airfreight trucking business, and is Canada's largest in that market, thus making the majority of our line haul work airport-to-airport. Most runs operate on an overnight schedule to major airports within a 500-mile radius. Atlantis maintains additional line haul contracts from manufacturers for positioning of equipment.

Monetary Returns/Pay/ Hours of Work

Company Drivers and Owner-Operators are paid weekly by the mile and average 2,500 miles per week. The new Canadian Hours of Service allow 70 hours of work in 7 days with a 36-hour reset. We want our drivers to be in compliance and also understand the importance of being home, so after 6 days out you will have a minimum of 2 days off. Atlantis offers an above average base mileage rate for its Drivers and Owner-Operators in addition to an extensive accessorial package that includes payments for pickups and deliveries, tolls, layovers, U.S. and Canadian Floats just to mention a few.
