Barr-Nunn has extended its OTR hiring area to include a 25-mile radius of Detroit, MI (along with all areas South of I-94 in MI). We are also now hiring from the states of Mississippi and Arkansas (within 75 miles of Memphis, TN) for over-the-road positions.
Syracuse, NY (25-mile radius) and locations along I-81 from Scranton, PA to Syracuse are now eligible for our Northeast Regional fleet. This includes Binghamton, NY and Corland, NY as well as Scranton, PA.
Savannah, GA (25-mile radius) has also been added to our hiring area for Southeast Regional.

Barr-Nunn Barr-Nunn Company Drivers receive an Appreciation Bonus of $312.50 every 60,000 paid miles
Company Drivers - Starting Base Pay OTR with Hazmat = $.39 - $.41 per Practical mile.
Company Driver Sign-On Bonus will be $1,000 - valid thru 9/17/10!Additional Requirements
- No more than 3 Moving Violations in the last 4 years
- No more than 2 Moving Violations in the last 12 months
- No DOT preventable or on-road accidents in last 4 years
- No more than 1 parking lot or customer lot accident/incident in the past 18 months
- Hazmat Endorsement will be required within 120 days of being hired

Owner Operators
Owner Operators will receive performance bonuses totaling $3200 for the first 120,000 miles and $3900 every 120,000-mile increment thereafter. Bonuses will be paid to owners in equal installments ($800 - $975) every 30,000 miles!
Our Owner Operators (OTR) are averaging $1.24 Per Practical Mile on all miles including fuel surcharge.
Barr-Nunn Pays $.94 - $1.91 per mile plus fuel surcharge on all complete loads!
Owner Operator Sign On will be $1,000 - valid thru 9/17/10.
Average fuel discount is $.25 per gallon off the pump price.
Barr-Nunn pays 100% of Fuel Surcharge to OO on all miles (empty and loaded)!
