Truckdriver.com Since 1996

Dear {FName},

Everything you wanted to know about applying through TruckDriver.com but were afraid to ask!

Do you have jobs in my area?
Probably yes. You can see our current trucking job openings here. Most of the time we have job openings listed for all 50 states and several Canadian provinces. Our job listings change daily as positions are filled and others open up, or as new trucking firms list openings with us for the first time. Therefore, even in the rare case that you don’t see any openings in your area, submit your application to Truckdriver.com so that you’ll be considered when new openings come up.

Can I get a truck driving job if I have a felony conviction or DUI/DWI on my record?
This depends on the trucking company, of course, but some fleets are willing to overlook a felony conviction or DUI/DWI, depending on the driver’s other qualifications. By looking up a particular company you are interested in driving for in the Our Fleets directory, you can find the qualifications that that firm requires.

Can I make sure my application doesn’t go out to my current or former employer?
Yes. If you want to make sure your application does not go out to a particular company, simply uncheck the box in front of that company’s name on the bottom section of the Application Form.

How do I apply for a certain job opening and not to all the rest?
In the bottom section of the Application Form, uncheck boxes so that only the company or companies to which you want your information sent are checked.

Is it possible to update my application after I submit it?
Yes. Login to your account by entering your email address and password in the upper right corner of any page of this website. If you’ve forgotten your login information, retrieve it here.

Do you sell or rent my email address to other companies after I apply for a job through your site?
No. We respect the privacy of your information. Review our complete privacy policy here.

What if I have other questions?
The fastest way to get a question answered is to click on the Live Chat link in the upper right corner of any page of this website, if that box says that we are online. Otherwise, please submit your question through our Contact Us page.

March Trucker Buddy of the Month
Jacob Person
K & B Transportation

The Hammitt School in Normal, Illinois is a small day treatment program for student K-8 of emotionally disturbed children. Five of the nine classes in the school are now writing Jacob letters and sending pictures. Mr. Person’s contact for the school is teacher Janet Puntoni and she says, “He has been awesome with our students. He writes on a regular basis, send postcards and little things for the students, but the thing that he does that I feel is outstanding is that he always has a life lesson in his letters. For Example he told the students that he won an award for safe
driving and he won it because he always follows his bosses directions, he stated that they always need to follow the teachers directions and they would be winners too.”

When Mr. Person who drivers for K & B Transportation accepted the assignment of being the school’s Trucker Buddy he accepted an unusually hard task because working with this students isn’t always the easiest task but he has opened his heart to them and accepted them just like they have accepted him.

Albert DeLos Santos of the Hammitt School told Trucker Buddy, “Jacob has installed simple life lessons in his letters while focusing on the growth and development of the children. Jacob repeatedly has stopped by the school to display his truck while answering the student's or questions even when they seem to have nothing to do with Jacob his occupation! Jacob has been very understanding of our
type of population and their delayed writing abilities/deficiencies. Jacob's participation in the Trucker Buddy Program is a blessing and continues to be one of the key motivators for our children. Thank you Jacob!”

When told of the recognition, Mr. Person said he was very excited and thought this honor was one the greatest honors he has very been awarded. Thank you Mr. Person for being our Trucker Buddy for the month of March.
