TruckDriver.com Carrier of the Month Veriha Trucking
05/15/2019
In 1978, John Veriha established his trucking company in Porterfield, Wisconsin. As the company’s sole employee, John made long haul interstate runs, transporting products to California and back. Despite humble beginnings, John’s reputation of dedication and reliability allowed the company to grow and prosper. The business moved to nearby Marinette, Wisconsin in 1982 to allow for continued expansion.
Now owned and operated by his daughter Karen, Veriha Trucking provides transportation solutions in 48 states and parts of Canada. Their fleet of 250+ drivers operates out of four terminal locations to serve a variety of customers and industries. Today, their trucks haul everything from paper products, groceries and produce, pet food, auto parts, and much more.
Although their family-owned company has evolved and grown in the past four decades, their core values and goals have not changed: Veriha Industry Professionals (VIPs) still strive to provide sustainable, affordable, and safety-conscious transportation solutions to their vast customer network.
Veriha Trucking is looking for safety conscious, hard-working truck drivers to work together with the leadership team to provide customers the best VIP service possible.
Veriha Trucking provides their drivers the latest model equipment including tablet based mobile communication. As a family-owned business, they understand the importance of insurance; they offer paid life insurance and excellent medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options. Veriha Trucking employees are paid weekly through a payroll direct deposit. They also make sure their drivers have guaranteed weekly home time of 48 hours or more.
